Developmental Screening (Ages 6-17 years)

At BrainX we screen all children who attend our centre via a combination of both clinical interview and standardised developmental screening questionnaires. We use the gold standard in developmental screening called the Conner's Behavioural Rating Scales. This is an instrument designed to give an overview of child and adolescent disorders and concerns.

Whilst it cannot be used in isolation to diagnose, it can screen for children at risk for certain disorders and determine whether additional cognitive or psychological assessment is required.

The age range suitable for this assessment is 6–18 years for parent and teacher forms, and 8–18 years for self-report forms.

This tool is designed to screen for 12+ different development disorders as indicated in the diagram below.

This screening can be done for remote patients via Skype consultation for $390.
